3D printing for business

From one prototype to production runs of thousands. Upload your file, see the price for any quantity, and order online. Every part is printed on our own production floor.By the ply team · Updated November 3, 2026

Why companies order from ply

  • 10,000+ parts a week. Production capacity across our fleet, with print plates turned several times a day.
  • Prices that scale. The price per part drops as your quantity grows, parts that fit together share a print plate so batches cost less, and larger runs can be quoted individually.
  • Fast turnaround. We print 7 days a week. When a printer is free, the material is in stock and the part finishes before the carriers’ last pickup, it ships the same day. You see the arrival date for any quantity before you pay, with 2-Day and Overnight shipping when you need it.
  • Our own facility. Printed in-house by the team behind thousands of parts for defense, aerospace and medical customers.
  • Company accounts. Your team shares orders and saved parts, and anyone can reorder in a few clicks.
  • Finishing and hardware. Additional finishing services and hardware sourcing for business customers, including heat-set inserts.

Production runs

Order 1 part or 10,000 the same way: upload a STEP, STL or 3MF file, choose a material and quantity, and check out. The price page shows the price per part at each quantity break, so you can see where the next discount starts. Large quantities are planned onto shared print plates and run across many printers at once.

Brackets, fixtures, jigs, enclosures, housings, spacers and replacement parts are everyday work for us, in PETG, ASA, ABS, polycarbonate, and carbon fiber and glass fiber plastics. See every engineering plastic.

Specialty materials

For demanding programs, from electronics and vehicles to aerospace and space hardware, we stock specialty plastics that are hard to find at print services:

  • PC Space Grade (ESD-safe PC): Carbon-filled polycarbonate: anti-static, heat resistant & low outgassing for electronics
  • PPS-CF: Extreme heat & chemical resistance, flame retardant (black)
  • PPA-CF: Carbon fiber high-temp nylon: very stiff, strong, matte black, handles oil & chemicals
  • PPA-GF: High-temp glass fiber nylon: engine bays & hot fluids (black)
  • PETG V0 (Flame-Retardant PETG): Flame-retardant PETG that stops burning on its own, good for electronics cases
  • ABS-FR (Flame Retardant): Flame-retardant ABS: puts itself out within seconds, great for electronics enclosures
  • TPU-GF: Glass fiber TPU: flexible but firmer, holds its shape & size better (black)
  • PEBA Air: Foaming PEBA: soft, light & springy cushioning (black)
  • TPU Air: Foaming TPU: very soft & light, for padding and grips (black)
  • PVB (Smoothable Clear): Clear plastic that turns glossy and glass-like after a wipe with rubbing alcohol
  • PLA-Aero: Foaming lightweight PLA: very light parts for RC planes, props & cosplay
  • Metal PLA: Real metal powder in PLA: heavy, cast-metal look; sand, polish or patina it

Finishing and hardware

Additional finishing services and hardware sourcing are available for business customers. Our modular production floor can accommodate parts that need heat-set inserts and other hardware, so they arrive ready to assemble. Email us with your part and what it needs.

Checked before it prints

An engineer reviews every order before printing: material, settings and printability. If a change is needed, or would make the part better, we email you the details with the new price and date, and you approve it online. Your card is only held at checkout and charged after the review.

Company accounts

Create a company on your account page and add your teammates. Orders and saved parts are shared across the team, and every part you’ve ordered is one click from a reorder at today’s price under My parts.

Need help with your parts?

Email us at orders@plyparts.com. We’ll help you get your files and parts ready to print. For larger runs, we can send your team a link with the part and today’s price, ready to order.

Common questions

Can ply print a production run of hundreds or thousands of parts?

Yes. ply has production capacity for 10,000+ parts a week. Order any quantity online, up to 100,000 per part: the price page shows the price per part at each quantity and the arrival date before you order.

Do you offer volume pricing?

Yes, built in. From 5 parts the price per part drops automatically as the quantity grows, and the one-time setup is shared across the whole quantity. For larger runs, email us and we'll quote your order individually.

Do you print engineering and specialty materials?

Yes. Alongside everyday plastics we stock high-temperature carbon and glass fiber plastics (PPS, PPA), flame-retardant PETG and ABS, flexible and foaming TPU and PEBA, and ESD-safe, low-outgassing polycarbonate for electronics and aerospace work. Each material has its own page with specs.

Can you add inserts, hardware or finishing?

Yes, for business customers. Our modular production floor handles parts that need heat-set inserts and other hardware, and we offer additional finishing and hardware sourcing. Email us with your part and what it needs.

Where are the parts printed?

In-house, on our own production floor in the USA. ply isn't a marketplace: we don't pass your order to another print shop.

Can my team share one account?

Yes. A company account shares orders and saved parts with the teammates you add, so anyone on the team can reorder a part at today's price.
