Multi-color 3D printing

Up to 5 colors in one plastic part, straight from your slicer project. Upload the 3MF file and see your colors in 3D with an instant price.

How it works

  1. Paint your model or assign a filament to each part in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer, and save the project as a .3mf file.
  2. Upload it. We read every painted color and every part’s filament, plus your walls, fill and layer height, and show it in 3D.
  3. Each color in your file is matched to the closest color we stock. If one isn’t close, we tell you, and you can pick another color for any filament right on the file card.

Got a model with several separate pieces but no colors (for example a download with STL files)? You can give each piece its own color on the price page.

Limits

  • Up to 5 filaments in one print, counting a separate support material; up to 2 when an engineering plastic is involved.
  • Only one flexible material (TPU, PEBA) per print. It can share the print with rigid plastics.
  • PLA and flexible plastics can’t share a print with high-temperature plastics (ABS, ASA, PC, nylon, PPA, PPS): the heated chamber those need softens PLA and jams flexible filament. PETG and PET-CF/GF mix with anything.
  • Projects with several objects are checked object by object, since each can print separately.

What it costs

Every color change takes a little time and purges a little plastic, so we count the real number of changes in your part, layer by layer, rather than guessing. Color only in a few spots (eyes on a figure) costs far less than color on every layer. Ordering several of the same part spreads those changes out, and ordering more never raises the price per part.
